Down a mossy path, with no one near,

I walked alone through dusk unclear.

A hundred thoughts turned into haze,

But never once I lost my ways.

By the river, a cup of tea,

I drank my sorrow silently.

With flowers planted, fences low,

I made the storms in verses flow.

Who says the humble hearts don’t shine?

In smoky life, there’s light, divine.

I don’t need cheers, nor grand replies—

A smile alone means I survived.

Who says that fate must stay unkind?

I’ve bowed my head, I’ve doubted mine.

But when the winds swept leaves away,

I smiled—and turned the war my way.

“One year I fell where the wild winds roam,

I picked a flower, and called it home.”

The world like mist, the time a flame,

I warmed my dreams, though none knew my name.

If glory’s far and out of view,

Then let my smile be etched like dew.

The mountains still, yet know my stride,

Each step I took, I walked with pride.

If no feast waits at journey’s end,

Then let the rain become my friend.

And if I smile through storm and sea—

That smile alone is victory.
